Returning Laptops - If you have borrowed a laptop/computer from the school, we are now scheduling appointments to return them. Appointments are available between June 21-24th. Laptops and computers need to be returned to the school NO LATER THAN June 28th.
Graduation Gowns - can be picked up June 17th & 18th between 9am - 3pm in the library.
Grad Hoodies - The 2nd order of grad hoodies have arrived. The main entrance of the school is open and you can pick up your hoodie from the office between 8am-4pm.
We are coming to the end of a challenging school year, and we hope you have had some good experiences as you persevered through many changes. We have a bit of information to help you finalize this year and transition to next year. We wish you a restful and energizing summer, and we look forward to seeing you in September.
Last day of class + locker clean-up | Mon, June 21 -- last day of remote- and in-person instruction. Tue June 22 – Grade 9 locker clean-up Wed, June 23 – Grade 10 locker clean-up Thu, June 24 – Grade 11 locker-clean up On locker-clean up day, students can enter the school through the front doors. Please bring all textbooks/laptops/resources to return, and please empty your locker entirely. Any items left in the lockers after June 24 will be discarded. We are very happy you get a chance to come back to school briefly, but please plan to exit the school once you've emptied your locker. This will help us to minimize contact. |
| Timetables + timetable adjustments | While we are optimistic that we will have a more traditional return to school in September, it is possible that there will be public health orders that will affect our planning . Given that uncertainty, we will be mailing out timetables on August 16. If you have had a recent change of address, please notify the school of these changes (you can email Student Services: smith.val@bsd.ca). All timetable change requests can be initiated through the online form below. PowerSchool + Office 365 | PowerSchool will close for the summer on July 1. It will re-open on September 7. Student Office 365 accounts will remain active over the summer. Microsoft Teams will be inactive over the summer, and all current class teams will be archived. Teams chat will open on August 30. |
2021 - 2022 | The first day of school for students in grades 10, 11, 12 is Thu, Sept 9. Lockers will be assigned and you will receive your locker number and combination on the first day of school. We are hopeful that we will be able to have all students attending everyday this coming year. If we need to continue with 50/50 or remote attendance, the school will notify families in August. |
